This review critically evaluates the various types of CVADs commonly employed in transplant settings, examining their indications, complications, and best practices to enhance patient outcomes. Moreover, it emphasizes the significance of broadening the selection algorithm for vascular devices and incorporating patient expectations and comfort into routine clinical practice.
